ZGC Sundance
This is one handsome curly palomino
colt!!! No white socks.......... only the thin
white blaze. Sundance is sired by Vegas
and out of our mare, Della. We have
had three super nice other foals out of
his dam, Della and all are great horses.
Two are trained to ride........ Cocoa and
ZGC Carmella and do an excellent job for
their owners with great gaits, intelligent
and quick learning minds and kind
dispositions. They are exactly the type
horses we breed for here at Zion's Gait
Curlies. Cocoa is my personal favorite
riding horse!! : ) I know Sundance will
be like them and make a wonderful riding
horse and/or stallion when matures.
We were hoping for a filly to be able to
ride and add to the future breeding
program, but as fate would have it, we
were blessed with a colt. Since 80% of
our mares are related to him, we cannot
keep him for a stallion, so some lucky
person gets the chance to buy
Sundance. He will be a gorgeous stallion
when mature and will reach 15.1 or more
hands. Siblings have turned a golden
palomino and dark buckskin, so most
likely he will have a rich palomino color
when mature.
Sundance has no Walker Prince T. or Sir
Patrick so will cross with those lines
without inbreeding, but as usual, I
recommend he is bred to high quality
straight haired MFT mares for diversity
and continually improved quality.
This is the perfect opportunity for a
family or group of friends to get the curly
foals they have been dreaming about at
a fraction of the price of buying them.
You could also consider breeding
Sundance to a few of your beautiful
mares and gelding him as a riding horse
after you get your foals. As another
option, you could resell him to another
family who wants some curly foals too.
